This week, we're reviewing the #1 New York Times Bestseller The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy.
Yes, it's an illustrated book. Yes, it's about animals and a little boy. Yes, podcasts are an audio medium, not a visual medium. But the heart wants what it wants, okay?
Charlie Mackesy is an artist, cartoonist and book illustrator who has lived and worked on four continents. His work features in books, private collections and both public and private spaces around the world. He collaborated with Nelson Mandela in 2006 to create a set of lithographs.
In this The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse book review, we cover an article from The Washington Post that explains how the book came to be, who the author is, and the impact it’s had on the world since its publication in October 2019.
Listen to Lisa bawl her eyes out, unwillingly, as she talks about the book taking over the self-help lists by storm.
If you like what you're hearing, you can purchase the book here.
You can also learn more about the author at his website.
